Alternative medicine for psoriasis
Believe me, I must have tried every prescription and over the counter psoriasis cream on the market. I was fed up with the itching and scaly skin and just wanted relief I could count on. That's when I decided to do some research on my own.

Apply a thin layer mineral oil to the effected area this will help heal and keep the skin moist. UV light therapy can also be administered in your doctor's office. You can harness the benefits of the sun by getting a home light unit that shines UVB light.
Showering ,swimming, soaking in a tub and applying wet compresses all can rehydrate dry skin and remove thick psoriasis scales without damaging the skin. Regular soaking also helps reduce itching and redness of lesions. Best heavy duty lotion for dry hands?
My job dries out my hands really bad to where they start peeling and sometimes bleeding. I've tried Vaseline lotions, neutrogena Norwegian formula, Cetaphil, Eucerin, Aveno......none of them are working! I think some of them are making it worse actually, they might contain alcohol. Any suggestions? And I don't have insurance so I'm not going to the doctor to get a prescription.
I have been there! My skin dries out really easily, and I was living in a desert with a hand-drying job too! Believe it or not, I found Avon's Moisture Therapy Intensive hand cream is the best hand lotion on the market. I'd also tried everything on your list, and none of them worked for me either. It's not only better, it's way less expensive! I recommend getting a pair of white cotton gloves, then just slather the lotion on, put the gloves on, and go to bed. It's really sticky and takes forever to soak in, so you won't be able to use it every time you wash your hands, but you also won't need to!
