Im being treated for anorexia, can i still get a six pack?
Hey there,
I have had anorexia for the past 2 & 1/2 years and im on treatment now. I am 13 and weigh 34.5KG and I have an average height. I really want a six pack!! When I wasn't being treated I would of worked out more but I was just contemplating killing my self or thinking about food. But as im still kinda light I was wondering if there was any chance of me getting one back??
Im on a certain diet and here's an average day:
2 slices of butter toast
1 chicken sandwich
1 aplen bar/cereal bar
2/3 krispy creme doughuts (originol glazed)
and a medium sized dinner.
I am at drama school so we do alot of dancing so im allready very active during the day. I know what to do to get one but is it possible??

I didn't choose the diet, my dietician did!!!
I have a close friend who eats what she wants-and I mean WHATEVER she wants, no matter how junky it is-yet she is extremely thin, actually underweight, with 6-pack abs and ripped (although they are tiny) arms. She does it by exercising for about 90 minutes a day, 7 days a week (plus she has two kids to run after, lol)
I'm sure it is absolutely possible, but I think you might need to get a little more protein into your diet for muscle development-so you are not just burning fat and getting thinner and thinner.
Your specific diet-it doesn't kep you from eating MORE, does it? You can eat MORE than what's on your diet...so put some bacon and cheese on that toast-if you can bring yourself to.
If you can't bring yourself to do that-which is completely understandable, and Anorexia is a serious illness that completely controls you- then you are not ready to be focused on body issues at all right now. You should probably question your reasons and the health of wanting a 6 pack.
