Moisturizer before putting makeup on / Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer Oil Free?

I use that one
I love it. it works so well.
I mix mine with a tiny bit of Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion though, so the salicylic acid in the other doesn't dry out my skin.

as for before makeup, I have no idea. I've never tried it.
I thought about trying it a few weeks ago but I felt like it was making my skin more exposed to getting my pores clogged by the makeup.
